Abstract:

The present research paper is based on a study of the role and influence of mass communication among the youth of Ward No. 5, Chaibasa, located in the West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. Mass communication refers to the dissemination of information among the public through various media channels. In the contemporary era, mass communication significantly influences and directs the mindset, thoughts, culture, and everyday life of society. Its reach is extensive and virtually unlimited. Through various mass communication media, individuals in society are increasingly gaining opportunities for expression and participation. The study explores how mass communication affects the attitudes, perceptions, and social engagement of young people in the selected area.
