Abstract:

The philosophy of Swami Vivekananda represents a profound vision of universal humanism rooted in the principles of Vedanta and practical spirituality. He emphasized the inherent divinity of every individual and advocated the harmonious development of body, mind, and spirit. Vivekananda believed that all religions lead to the same ultimate truth and promoted religious tolerance, mutual respect, and global brotherhood. His philosophy transcended sectarian boundaries and encouraged individuals to serve humanity as a form of worship. Through his teachings, he sought to empower people, eradicate social inequalities, and foster self-confidence and moral strength. Universal humanism, as envisioned by Vivekananda, combines spiritual realization with social responsibility, creating a framework for peaceful coexistence and human development. His ideas continue to inspire contemporary discussions on education, social justice, interfaith dialogue, and global harmony, making his philosophy relevant and influential in the modern world.
